WELCOME TO THE START-UP SERIES

In this friend-connected series, four friends, who all met in Amsterdam ten years ago, are running their fledgling start-up from their garage.

In Semantics, Violet grew up with a silver spoon in her mouth and took her semester abroad program ten years ago very seriously, while Stella had to work hard for everything she’s ever gotten and became Violet’s competition. When Violet’s company needs a new software, she discovers that Stella is the person in charge of sales, and when they reconnect, sparks fly in this no-strings-attached, enemies-to-lovers story.

In Derivation, Sarai is the marketing genius, trying to help put their company in the national spotlight, but when her new roommate is the woman whom she met eleven years ago in Amsterdam, she’s taken aback and doesn’t know how to act around Gabi, who had a pretty big crush on Sarai back then. That crush might no longer be just a crush for both of them in this roommates-to-lovers, secret-crush book.

In Paradigm, Arlowe, the head of engineering, keeps receiving bug reports from one specific user, so she decides to email that user back only to discover that it’s the woman she loved in Amsterdam all those years ago. When she and Eline meet up to talk about the past, they discover that their feelings are very much still in the present, so they embark on a new relationship in this second-chance, long-distance romance.

In Lexicon, Enya is the last person in the house she used to share with her friends. She’s moving out and into an apartment of her own, and that’s when she runs into Brianna, the woman she had a crush on when she took a trip to Ireland back in college. Brianna is starting over in an apartment, too, and it happens to be right next door to Enya’s own in this secret-crush with a socially awkward genius romance.

After all of the Start-up Series couples finally get together, don’t forget to check out What Happened After: the novella that contains four short stories for each couple, taking place after all of the respective epilogues in the books. Catch up with Violet & Stella, Sarai & Gabi, Arlowe & Eline, and Enya & Brianna in this collection.

Start-up Series Book #1.

Violet Russell and her friends met during a semester abroad in Amsterdam ten years ago. They’ve been trying to make their business idea turn into a massive success ever since, but she and her three friends all still work out of the garage and live together to save money. On top of that, Violet has been using her trust fund to keep the company afloat, and the money is about to run out. They have a chance to invest in a tool that could help speed up their progress, but that tool comes at a cost, and it’s not just money.

When Stella Ross sees that Violet Russell, the woman she met in Amsterdam years ago, who made her school life there hell, is interested in her company’s product, she decides that as the SVP of Sales, she’ll take on this possible account herself because if she can get Violet to buy her software, she’d have an in with the rest of the Russell Group companies, which would be a big win for her.

The two women haven’t seen each other since their college rival days, and when sparks fly and confessions are revealed after they reconnect, they decide that the best way to handle the tension between them is to engage in some no-strings fun because that never ends badly or with two women discovering that they have real feelings for one another after all.
