NEW ORLEANS SERIES

 

In this friend-connected 12-book series, you’ll meet a group of friends who all fall in love over the course of a few years, each in a different month.

In January, meet Melinda, a New Orleans tour guide who loves her job, and Kyle, a woman in town to solve the mystery of a family rift who takes a tour and ends up falling in love in this fish-out-of-water, love-at-almost-first-sight book.

 

In February, you’ll catch up with Bridgette, Melinda’s best friend, who is trying to save her family-owned greeting card company from the giant corporation that wants to buy it. When that corporation sends a representative, Monica, to New Orleans to review the business, Bridgette wants to hate her, but she can’t help falling in love with her in this age-gap, enemies-to-lovers story.

 

In March, you’ll be along for the ride as Sophie runs into a tourist at a bar. She feels an instant connection to Bryce, and Bryce feels it, too, but after a shared kiss, they’re pulled apart and have to find their way back together in this insta-love, long-distance-relationship tale.

 

In April, Asher begins to realize that she isn’t straight after watching her best friend, Linden, come out. She also discovers that she has feelings for Linden, who is enjoying her player phase at the moment and might not be ready for a commitment, let alone one with her best friend in this friends-to-lovers, coming-out-later-in-life, toaster-oven romance.

 

In May, meet Logan, a recovering gambling addict who is struggling to move on when she gets a job at a new local bar and meets Rory, a younger woman who captures Logan’s heart in this first-love, butch/femme, slow-burn story.

 

In June, you’ll meet Caroline, a college student who doesn’t actually want to be in college, and Enid, a grad student who has to start over when her life plan doesn’t go how she expected it would in this new-adult, starting-over, first-love book.

 

In July, Jill finally gets her love story when her mother calls and tells her to take care of her kid sister, who happens to be in summer school. Her sister’s teacher, Willa, is immediately taken with Jill. While those feelings are returned, Jill is dealing with so much, she’s not sure that she can risk her heart, too.

 

In August, Elisa is looking for a fresh start in New Orleans when she meets Myra, the contractor she wants to hire to do work on her recently purchased house. Myra also happens to be her next-door neighbor and a very attractive woman. Elisa has twins who are about to go off to college and an ex-husband who isn’t supportive of her moving on with her life. Watch as Elisa and Myra fall in love in this starting-over, coming-out-later-in-life story.

 

In September, Juliet gets a promotion at work that involves a lot of travel, and she’s worried about her dog being home alone so much. She hires Gwen, a top-ranked dog walker and pet sitter, and they immediately hit it off. Meet the adorable pet, and stay for the romance.

 

In October, meet Molly, who’s had a secret crush on her co-worker for years, but Finley has always been taken. Now that Finley is single, though, shy Molly doesn’t know how to tell the woman how she feels, but what she doesn’t know is that Finley also has a crush on her in this workplace romance.

 

In November, India is set in her ways and doesn’t like to flex for anyone. Maisie is the bookstore owner, with the building right next to India’s office. She also happens to be running for city council against India’s brother. The two meet and are like oil and water, but sometimes, that could be a good thing, and it certainly is in this opposites-attract, rich girl/poor girl tale.

 

In December, Samara is a famous actress who makes her way to New Orleans to film a sapphic indie film in order to get her some award buzz and also help her come out as bisexual when she’s ready. Dana is the caterer on set and has been assigned to take care of Samara’s particular tastes. Samara is surprised to find that Dana doesn’t let her off the hook for anything but that she’s also a great actress in this celebrity, neurodivergent, coming-out story.

 

This series consists of 12 books (there won’t be a separate What Happened After), and at the end of December (I mean the book title here, not the month), you’ll get an epilogue with an update on all of the couples in the books as a finale to your journey with the New Orleans Series.

In 2025, the series will be released in two formats: e-book and paperback.​ I don't have plans for audio at the moment.
